Names

We are named after these two great men.

My mandarin name 恩曦 is named after the 1st premier of China, 周恩来. It is coincident that the name is the same as a particular female lead character in a Korean drama. Mum likes to think that she has more depth.

Meimei’s name 嘉暄 is named after the current premier of China, 温家宝. Can’t use the same 家 because too boyish and to be fair to me, mum has to keep one chinese character in complicated strokes so that I won’t complain.

Daddy is not too impressed, he said might as well named after 李光耀.
